Our Story
When we tie the knot, it will be just after our seven-year anniversary. As most of you know, our love blossomed at the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel (where Jordan was definitely NOT Marielle’s manager), and what was supposed to be a short-lived romance became our forever story.Fast forward to July 2023 - what was supposed to be a nice little weekend getaway to The Hague soon turned into one of our most memorable moments ever. You have all been a part of our story in some way or another and we can’t wait to welcome you to our celebration of love.

The Venue
We’ve chosen a beautiful chateau to host our wedding, on the outskirts of Bordeaux city centre. Surrounded by gardens, this refined hotel in a 19th-century castle will be the location for all festivities.Details:
Name - Château La Chèze Hotel
Address - 27 Av. Pierre Semirot, 33270 Floirac, France
Contact Details - +33556720443 , www.chateau-lacheze.com/
Accomodation
There are plenty of hotels, Airbnb and Gîtes (French for holiday rental) in the local area. Some close examples:
Gite de la Caussade Floirac
B&B Hotel Bordeaux Est Tresses
Greet Hotel Bordeaux Floirac Arena
If you prefer to stay in Bordeaux city centre, we recommend hotels closer to the train station as this is very easy to get to the chateau from, approx. 10min by car, 17min by bus. Some examples:
Hilton Garden Inn Bordeaux Centre
Ibis Bordeaux Centre Gare Saint-Jean
Novotel Bordeaux Centre Gare Saint-Jean
Closer to the date, we will look into arranging some transport options from central locations, more info to follow.
Dress Code
We have chosen a venue full of history and elegant charm for our special day and would therefore ask you to translate this class into your choice of clothing for the day. Whilst respecting the fact that it will most likely be rather warm on the day, we ask you to please dress in a smarter manner. Please keep in mind that we’d rather no sneakers or jeans on the day.👔 For the men: Light, breathable formal wear. If available, a kilt is a very well encouraged option!👗 For the ladies: Light and airy formal wear. Breathable fabrics are recommended. Obviously, no white nor royal blue – this is the colour reserved to the bridesmaids.

Timetable
Your presence is already a gift in itself!
We are truly grateful for your travels and are so thrilled to celebrate this special day together. If you choose to leave us with more than the gift of you being there, your contribution will be used for our honeymoon. You can do so via this link:

The local area is rich in history and culture, if you have some time to spend before or after our wedding we would highly recommend exploring the city and region! Some highlights:
